    1. I know, huh? It's an awesome capture and represents the commitment that I saw Rich make to Jennie when she was born. He was her advocate. Of course, he made the same commitment to Corey but I wasn't lucky enough to catch that in a photo.

  2. One of the things that always stood out to me was how he played with the kids. Of course, Jennie and Corey, but all of the kids. I was always so charmed to watch him play barbies with Jennie, get in the sand and build castles on our beach family vacations. He never minded, in fact, he enjoyed. I always admired that about him!

    1. I love the Barbie reference. It sparks memories of him swearing up and down before Jennie was born that there would be no Barbies ... then when Jennie had different ideas he was willing to join in if it made her happy.
